Sangeeta Wellness

Yoga for women in midlife

Strong, steady, and breathing well, through every stage of midlife.

I teach gentle, intelligent yoga for women in their 40s, 50s, and 60s, built around strength, balance, mobility, and breath through the changes midlife brings, not flexibility or performance. Sessions are one-on-one or in a small group, in-person in Chandigarh or online wherever you are. No experience needed, and every pose has an easier way in.

Sangeeta Chawla

Move

Weight-bearing, joint-safe strength that supports the life you actually live: getting up off the floor, carrying groceries, climbing stairs.

Breathe

Pranayama that calms an over-alert nervous system and helps you sleep, even when hormonal changes are working against you. Breath comes first here, not last.

Balance

Standing sequences built specifically for stability, so uneven sidewalks and stairs stop feeling like a risk.

About Sangeeta

I came to this practice later in life too.

I didn't start yoga in my twenties in a studio full of handstands. I found it later, needed it for reasons that had nothing to do with flexibility, and built my teaching around everything I wish someone had told me at the start.

I can get up off the floor without using my hands now. That sounds small until you're deep in perimenopause and it hasn't been true for a while.
